PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic member which permits joining material to be supplied in a fine pitch, exhibits high reliability, and is capable of electrical connection.
SOLUTION: When copper oxide is reduced to copper, a number of nuclei of metallic copper are formed within copper oxide, so that, when reduced, the original outer shape is retained while being stripped of all contents, and that the generated copper has an increased curvature. By making use of this turn-into-fine particles mechanism, joining is made possible even when copper oxide is supplied in fine layer form, not in particulate form. Also, by using copper with high migration resistance, joining with higher reliability than possible with conventional silver is obtainable. The present invention involves an electronic member which includes electrodes to input/output electric signals or connection terminals for connecting electric signals, the electrodes or the connection terminals having their outermost surfaces comprised of a copper oxide layer.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
