<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a power train product, which does not cause a problem of residual foreign matters or the like even if a rust proofing treatment is performed on an in-line basis. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a power train product includes the steps in the order of: a forging step of forging a rod-like material 10 to make a raw base 20; a normalizing and tempering step of subjecting the raw base 20 to normalizing and tempering treatments; an external form cutting step of cutting an external form of the raw base 20 after the normalizing and tempering treatments to obtain an external form processing base 30; a surface treatment step of applying a surface treatment to the external form processing base 30 whose external shape has been cut; an internal form cutting step of cutting an internal form of the external form processing base 30, to which a surface treatment has been applied, to obtain a product base 40; and a part assembling step of mounting functional parts to the product base 40 whose internal form has been cut. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
