<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft type linear motor which reduces the performance degradation of a motor even when a coolant passage is provided on a stator surface layer part. <P>SOLUTION: A shaft type linear motor includes a shaft shaped stator formed by aligning multiple magnets in a pipe, and a mover having multiple coils which are wound around the periphery of the stator. In the shaft type linear motor, a clearance is provided between an inner peripheral part of the pipe and an outer peripheral part of each magnet, and the clearance is used as a cooling passage of a stator surface layer part. Thus, even if the cooling passage is provided on the stator surface layer part, the performance degradation of the motor is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
