<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide article sorting equipment capable of finding out damage to shoes at an early stage, and preventing an abnormality in sorting articles. <P>SOLUTION: The article sorting equipment 10 includes: a rotation drive device; endless chains 14 circulating around a conveyance route; a plurality of slats 18 on which the article is placed and conveyed; and shoes 20 attached to the slats 18. The equipment includes a determination device for determining the damage to the shoe 20.
