The method involves coding a data-stream (DS) into a coded data stream (kDS) as per a coding standard, where the coded data-stream is divided into a data object (Rol) that is coded in a data object (kRol) and a coded data (kDD). Additional information is needed in addition to the coded data object (kRol) for decoding the coded data object independent of the coded data. The additional information is added to the coded data-stream. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a coating device for generating a coded data-stream (2) an extraction process for extraction of a coded data object (3) an extraction device for extraction of a coded data object.
