Electronic locking system for secured rooms, combined with wireless hand held telephone

The wireless hand held telephone(2) comprises a transponder(10) as a control unit for radio actuation of the electronic locking system which is battery powered(5). The transponder serves for radio data exchange with a base station(1) of the system after the base station has checked the transponder identity. There is a push button switch(21,22) for transmitting a radio signal from the transponder, thus releasing the electronic locking system. There may be an accumulator supplying the hand held telephone and a battery (20) for the transponder.
