PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance attenuator which can be used as one component similar to a chip component such as a chip resistor and can easily adjust attenuation. SOLUTION: This resistance attenuator comprises an insulator 11, having six surfaces, a first, a second and a third resistors 12, 13, 14 which are formed on first two facing surfaces of the insulator 11, a first and a second electrodes 16, 17 which are formed on second two facing surfaces of the insulator 11, respectively, and a third and a forth electrodes 18, 19 which are formed on third two facing surfaces of the insulator 11, respectively. The first resistor 12 is connected with the first and the second electrodes 16, 17, the second resistor 13 is connected with the first and the third electrodes 16, 18, and the third resistor 14 is connected with the second and the fourth electrodes 17, 19. The first electrodes 16 is made an input end, the second electrode 17 is made an output end, and the third and the forth electrodes 18, 19 are made electrodes for grounding.
