Method for vehicle route planning providing destination setting in a navigation system at an initiating start of a travel event, in which various destinations from those stored in a destination memory are selected on the basis of starting time and date of relevant travel events. Therefore position coordinate data of destinations being stored in a memory at respective destination storage positions are being attributed with at least the starting time and date of said relevant travel events.
