PURPOSE: A picture quality-improving simulation method of an image display device and an apparatus thereof are provided to enable a test image device to display optimized picture quality by applying a simplified simulation program. CONSTITUTION: A file input and output interface unit selects image data as an input image. An image control interface unit selects at least one image processing algorithm. An algorithm application controller applies an image process algorithm to input image data.
