PURPOSE: A method for determining the presence of a rotating object and setting an optimal gain is provided to control the motor gain according to the moment of inertia of a rotating object. CONSTITUTION: A motor(10) rotates a turn table(40). An encoder(20) detects rotation information of the motor. A control unit(30) determines whether a rotating object is placed on the turn table based on the rotation information. When the rotating object is placed on the turn table, the control unit controls the motor gain according to the moment of inertia of the rotating object.
