ACTIVE TYPE STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAY UNIT AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active type stereoscopic image display unit capable of actively adjusting an image focal point according to a situational change, and a driving method thereof.

SOLUTION: An active type stereoscopic image display unit comprises: an image display part that includes a plurality of matrix-like pixels, and in that a left eye pixel and a right eye pixel are alternately arranged in each of the plurality of pixels; a touch sensing part for sensing a touch position through a first transparent electrode layer and a second transparent electrode layer that are arranged so as to cross with each other and for separating an image output from the image display part through a lens array into a left eye image and a right eye image based on a refractive index of light; and a lens driving control part for adjusting a focal length by controlling the lens array.
