The present invention relates to a module for discharging folded textile items (3), comprising: - a transfer means (405) for transferring folded textile items (3) originating from a previous folding station to a discharge conveyer (407), and a scraper (409) running substantially perpendicular to the transfer means (405) and capable of a translational movement so as to sweep the items (3) towards the discharge conveyer (407). According to the invention, said transfer means (405) comprises a plurality of parallel longitudinal transfer bars (415) and the scraper (409) comprises a plurality of tines (410) interpolated between said bars (415) and retractable between: a retracted first position in which the tines (410) are arranged below said bars (415), and a deployed position in which the tines (410) run perpendicular to said bars (415) for sweeping the items towards the discharge conveyer (407). The invention also relates to a corresponding machine and to a corresponding folding method.
