<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power monitoring system in which power saving can be promptly handled while any excessive manpower is not required. <P>SOLUTION: Power data of power consumption measured for each living room by a power data collection and transmission apparatus 8 are broadcast to a network communicated to computers 10, 10, 10 arranged in each living room through a radio antenna 21b. In each computer 10 of each of the living rooms, program software for processing the transmitted power data of the power consumption is installed, and the power consumption in the corresponding living room is displayed on a display device 11 connected to the computer 10 in real time.
