An electric power control apparatus for a vehicle, includes: a plurality of first switches (SMR1P, SMR2P; R1P, R2P) that are provided between an electric device (120; 200) provided with a capacitor (C1; C3) and positive electrodes of a plurality of electricity storage devices(B1, B2) configured to connect to the capacitor in parallel, respectively; a plurality of second switches (SMR1N, SMR2N; R1N, R2N) that are provided between the electric device and negative electrodes of the plurality of electricity storage devices, respectively; and a controller (300) that executes one of a first control of causing the second switches to be in the conductive state alternately with each other while maintaining the conductive state of the first switches and a second control of causing the first switches to be in the conductive state alternately with each other while maintaining the conductive state of the second switches, if voltage difference between the electricity storage devices is greater than a predetermined value. |
