<p>Provided is a technology capable of improving the scan characteristics of an optical scan device. The optical scan device comprises: a plate unit (20), further comprising a frame part (22), and a plate main body part (23) whereon an anchoring end is formed by one end side being anchored in an aperture part (27) surrounded by the frame part (22), with an un-anchored end formed on the other end side; a mirror part (21) that is supported about an axis by hinge parts (25) so as to be capable of fluctuating between a pair of plate tab parts (23b) that are formed to make notches in the un-anchored end side of the plate main body part (23); an oscillation source (24) which is disposed upon the plate main body part (23) and which causes the mirror part (21) to fluctuate by flexing the plate main body part (23); and support beam parts (26) which are disposed in the axial direction of the hinge parts (25), and which connect the plate tab parts (23b) to the frame part (22). The support beam parts (26) are forked and connected to the frame part (22).</p>
