<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable high-gloss image by using a transparent toner having excellent low-temperature fixability, high hot offset resistance characteristics and good storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method comprises forming at least one kind of chromatic color toner image and a transparent toner image on a recording medium, in which development is carried out by replenishing the transparent toner and a carrier to a developing device while discharging an excess developer. In the viscoelasticity of the transparent toner, a loss tangent expressed by loss tangent (tanδ)=loss modulus (G")/storage modulus (G') shows a peak value of at least 3 at 80 to 160°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
