<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm device for a vehicle, capable of reporting over-speeding to a driver so as to reduce a speed of one's own vehicle down to a speed at which a minor collision or a crash can be avoided. <P>SOLUTION: An alarm device for a vehicle comprises: one's own vehicle position recognition means 1 for detecting a position of one's own vehicle to recognize a positional environment thereof; vehicle speed detecting means 2 for detecting a speed of the one's own vehicle to output speed data; control means 3 for determining whether over-speeding is reported or not, based on the positional environment of the own vehicle and the speed data; and touch stimulus means 4 for transmitting information about the over-speeding to a vehicle driver by a touch stimulus, in which the one's own vehicle position recognition means 1 determines whether or not the one's own vehicle is traveling in a travel caution area based on the positional data, and the control means 3 allows the touch stimulus means 4 to generate the touch stimulus when a result recognized by the own vehicle position recognition means 1 indicates that the one' own vehicle is in the travel caution area and the speed data is greater than or equal to a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
