<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geochemical sampler capable of reliably collecting a sample of fluid in the ground at a required position. <P>SOLUTION: A geochemical sampler covered with an external cylinder 10 comprises a mineral fluid reaction unit 11, a fluid collection unit 12, and a buffer unit 13, as main devices. The sampler filled with high-pressure helium gas is inserted into a borehole 9 in an aquifer 2. The helium gas is depressurized at a predetermined level of the borehole to open a check valve 17, so that groundwater is introduced into the sampler. After each of the units is filled with the introduced ground water, the helium gas is compressed to apply pressing force to the ground water to close the check valve, allowing the groundwater to be maintained in a pressurized state. Each of the units maintains the groundwater with on-off valves 21, 22, 25, and 26, and can be separated at connection parts 24 and 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
