<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine which can improve durability of a rotor core. <P>SOLUTION: A motor generator comprises a rotor core 21 and multiple permanent magnets 26. The rotor core 21 has multiple magnet insertion holes 27 to insert the permanent magnets 26. An inner diameter side flux barrier 52 and an outer diameter side flux barrier 51 are formed at the both ends of the permanent magnets 26. Each of the multiple magnet insertion holes 27 includes a magnet insertion hole 27t and a magnet insertion hole 27u which are arranged to be a V-shape having a convex on the outer peripheral side and a concave on the inner peripheral side. The rotor core 21 has a slit 76 which is arranged at the center location between the magnet insertion hole 27t and the magnet insertion hole 27u. When the rotor core 21 is cut along a plane orthogonal to a central axis 101, the cross-sectional shape of the slit 76 includes a slit body part 71 extending from an outer peripheral surface 21c toward center in a radial direction where the central axis 101 is the centre. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
