<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sufficient space for holding recording paper well with fingers when opening a conveyance guide. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, the conveyance guide moves to an opening position where it exposes a nip part between a feed roller and a retard roller by sliding in a downward direction when it is pulled in the downward direction by a traction means through opening operation of a cover, and returns to a closing position where it regulates a conveyance path by sliding in an upward direction by energizing force of an energizing means when its traction by the traction means is canceled through closing operation of the cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
