<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance compact composite electronic component constituted by combining a small capacitance static electricity countermeasure element exhibiting excellent discharge characteristics, heat resistance and weatherability and a common mode filter. <P>SOLUTION: The composite electronic component 100 has a common mode filter layer 12a sandwiched by first and second magnetic substrates 11a, 11b, and a static electricity countermeasure element layer 12b. The static electricity countermeasure element layer 12b has gap electrodes 28-31 formed on the surface of an underlying insulation layer 27, and a static electricity absorption layer 33 covering the gap electrodes 28-31. Arcuate gaps 28G-31G are arrange at such positions, on the outside of the outermost periphery of spiral conductors 17, 18, as not to overlap the spiral conductors 17, 18. The static electricity absorption layer 33 functions as a static electricity protective material of low voltage discharge type, and ensures initial discharge between the electrodes through the static electricity absorption layer 33 when an overvoltage, such as static electricity, is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
