METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY ACQUIRING CONTACT FACE IMAGE

Disclosed are a method and a system for automatically acquiring contact face images. The method comprises the following step: acquiring contact information of a contact; being connected to one or more social networking platforms, searching for a user matching the contact information of the contact among users of the social networking platform, and extracting an face image of the user stored in the social networking platform; selecting one face image as an icon in an address book if one or more face images are obtained successfully. According to the method and system for automatically acquiring contact face images disclosed in the present invention, a method is provided for name card recognition software to be automatically connected to one or more preset social networking websites after recognizing and extracting text information in an image of a name card, and to acquire a face portrait of the giver of the name card saved in the social networking website by searching the social networking website with information including the name of the giver of the name card. The method helps a user acquire the face portrait of the giver of the name card and use the face portrait as the icon in the address book when the user saves the information on the name card in the address book.
