<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush and a method for producing a toothbrush with which interdental spaces and periodontal pockets (in particular, periodontal pockets of back teeth) are effectively brushed from the back side of the teeth. <P>SOLUTION: The toothbrush 100 includes a brush portion 110 formed of a plurality of bristle tufts 150 planted on a bristle implanting substrate 112, and a grip portion 102 extending from the brush portion 110. The plurality of bristle tufts 150 are disposed to form a regular arrangement in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the grip portion 102, brush bristles of the bristle tufts 150a positioned on the diagonal lines of the arrangement are longer than brush bristles of the bristle tufts 150 not positioned on the diagonal lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
