<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygienic mask in which antiviral activity such as anti-influenza virus activity can be maintained for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The hygienic mask comprises adhering: antivirotics such as an anti-influenza virus agent of the shape of a particle which generates a hydroxy radical; and a 5C-18C fatty acid or its salt to a fibrous base material used for a respiratory passage part of a mask body. As the particle-like antivirotic, dolomite is calcinated, and hydrated, then the ground particle thereof is used. As the fatty acid, powdery stearic acid, liquid caprylic acid, liquid valeric acid or liquid caproic acid is used. Moreover, nonwoven fabric is used as the fibrous base material.
