<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and an information processing method which can improve usability. <P>SOLUTION: When a user instructs an operation related to a moving image obtained from a content providing server 3a, besides confusing indicators such as a stop mark button 103, an indication bar 105, and an indicator 106, which have predetermined display forms defined beforehand by the content providing server 3a, an information processor 2 displays a stop button image 35, a fast-forward button image 36, a rewind button image 37, a next button image 38, a previous button image 39, and a 'start from beginning' button image 40, which indicate their operation contents in characters so that a user can recognize their operation contents easily. Therefore, even users such as elderly people with low information literacy can instantly understand how to operate and can surely instruct a desired operation on the moving image by the stop button image 35, the fast-forward button image 36 and the like.
