<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device capable of solving a problem that a fast and reliable protection is not possible under the influence of wiring inductance when overcurrent protection (shut-off) is performed by detecting V<SB POS="POST">CE</SB>in a configuration in which IGBT modules are connected in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: Diodes connected in parallel for detecting V<SB POS="POST">CE</SB>of IGBT within an IGBT module are connected for each IGBT or at a rate of one to the plurality of IGBTs.
