<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seesaw switch whose thickness can be reduced with its insulation durability maintained while the switch is turned off. <P>SOLUTION: A seesaw switch 1 comprises: a housing 2 provided with fixed contact parts 42; and an operation part 3 which is slidably arranged in the housing 2 and attachably/detachably operates movable contact parts 63 to/from the fixed contact parts 42. The housing 2 is provided with a partition wall part 15 which faces both of a pair of sidewall parts 11 located in the short-side direction, and which divides the inside of the housing 2 into two portions. The operation part 3 is provided with extension parts 34 on both sides inside the housing 2 divided by the partition wall part 15 such that each of the extension parts 34 extends along an inner side between the sidewall part 11 and the partition wall part 15. The extension part 34 is interposed between the sidewall part 11 and the movable contact part 63 as well as between the partition wall part 15 and the movable contact part when the movable contact part 63 is spaced apart from the fixed contact part 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
