<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathwater sterilizing device that can sterilize bathwater automatically. <P>SOLUTION: The bathwater sterilizing device 1 includes a float 11, an ultraviolet lamp unit 13, a forward distance measuring sensor unit 15, a first side distance measuring sensor unit 17, a second distance measuring sensor unit 19, a forward propulsion force generating pump unit 21, a propulsion direction adjusting pump unit 23, protective frames 25, a power source device 27 (not shown in the figure), a control circuit 29 (not shown in the figure), and an ultraviolet lamp lighting apparatus 31 (not shown in the figure).
