SITUATION ADAPTABLE DRIVING SUPPORT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a situation adaptable driving support system that optimally supports driving operation in accordance with various traveling conditions.

SOLUTION: The driving support system includes a model prediction unit 41 that sequentially decides an optimal assist amount by sequentially solving assist amount optimization problems while predicting a model; an actuator control device 20 that controls a deceleration actuator 10 on the basis of the optimal assist amount decided by the model prediction unit 41; a risk decision unit 42 that decides a risk of a vehicle; and a parameter adjusting unit 43 that adjusts a parameter included in the assist amount optimization problem in accordance with the risk decided by the risk decision unit 42. The model prediction unit 41 sequentially decides the optimal assist amount using the parameter adjusted by the parameter adjusting unit 43.
