PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for each user to perform resume reproduction.

SOLUTION: An image reproducer includes: a reproduction control part 117 that reads out reproduction image recording medium identification information from an image recording medium 130 through an image recording medium readout device 101; an external recording medium reading device 113 that reads out resume information from an external recording medium 131 that stores the resume information; a user identification information acquisition part 118 that acquires reproduction user identification information from the user of an image reproducer 100; and a resume information collation part 119 that collates the reproduction image recording medium identification information and the reproduction user identification information with resume image recording medium identification information and resume user identification information that are contained in the resume information to identify executable resume information. The reproduction control part 117 resumes reproduction of images at the reproduction position denoted by reproduction interruption position information contained in the executable resume information.
