<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laterally arranged, straight rod-shaped and delicious foods which are hardly broken in the case of production, packaging, storage and the like, enable seasoning in various kinds, and have crunchy feeling and nice smell, and to provide a method for easily producing the rod-shaped foods. <P>SOLUTION: The laterally arranged rod-shape food 1 produced by treating the laterally arranged rod-shaped foods consisting essentially of starch with an alkali solution, and baking the treated product to afford two or more neighboring straight rod-shaped foods 2-4 having equal lengths, being linked to each other by a plurality of linking parts 5-8, and being mutually stuck in the lateral direction of the neighboring straight rod-shaped foods 2-4 at positions except the plurality of the linking parts 5-8 by sticking parts 9, or being parallelly arranged without being stuck, has a plurality of concave parts 10 formed between the neighboring straight rod-shaped foods 2-4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
