PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary lock capable of giving click feeling with a simple structure and reliably improving locking performance.SOLUTION: An auxiliary lock 70 includes: a base 71 attached to an upper frame of a window frame; a slider 72 arranged on one end side in the width direction of the base 71; a stopper 73 arranged on the other end side in the width direction of the base 71 and protruding from/receding into the base 71; a link 74 connecting the slider 72 and the stopper 73 with each other; a compression spring 75 for energizing the slider 72 to one end side; and a cam 76 for making the slider 72 slide to the other end side against the energization force of the compression spring 75. The cam 76 is provided such that a key is operable and has a pin 86 which engages with a slit 87 of the slider 72. The slit 87 is constituted of a linear straight part and an engaging part 89 provided at an end part corresponding to a moving end of the pin 86 in the straight part, and the engaging part 89 is recessed toward the side opposite to the energizing direction of the compression spring 75 with respect to the straight part.
