Disclosed is a method for measuring glycated hemoglobin in a hemoglobin-containing sample. Said method, in which the hemoglobin-containing sample is acted upon by a protease in the presence of a surfactant and then acted upon by a fructosyl peptide oxidase, is characterized in that the latter reaction is performed in the presence of an isothiazolinone derivative and the generated hydrogen peroxide is measured. This makes it possible to accurately measure glycated hemoglobin in a hemoglobin-containing sample, with high sensitivity, without being affected by the hemoglobin.
