NET-SHAPED PROTECTIVE MATERIAL FOR WIRING HARNESS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a net-shaped protective material having a protective function of a wiring harness and an abnormal sound reducing function.

SOLUTION: A net-shaped protective material for a wiring harness consists of a double-layered tube or sheet consisting of an inner surface material and an outer surface material each of which has a net shape. Each of the inner surface material and the outer surface material is given the net shape by performing thermal fusion, under pressure, of intersections of longitudinal lines and lateral lines each of which consists of a resin wiring material. And in addition, the outer surface of the inner surface material and the inner surface of the outer surface material are fused, and cutting ends of those are processed by fray stopping for preventing fray.
