CRUSHER OF RAW MATERIAL FOR BEVERAGE EXTRACTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher of a raw material for beverage extraction capable of preventing the occurrence of bridging of the raw material for the beverage extraction or freeing up the generated bridge, thereby securing excellent crush of the raw material.

SOLUTION: The crusher of the raw material for the beverage extraction for crushing the raw material to be used for preparing a beverage by extraction includes: a cylindrical hopper 11 extending in the vertical direction; a rotary crushing part 21 freely rotatably provided inside the hopper 11 for crushing the raw material; a motor 3 for rotationally driving the rotary crushing part 21; and a raw material jump suppressing plate 16 disposed at the upper part of the rotary crushing part 21 inside the hopper 11 so as to allow the raw material to pass through the inner surface of the hopper 11. The raw material jump suppressing plate 16 has an inclined surface 16a inclined downward to the front toward the inner surface of the hopper 11, and also has a through-hole 16b in a prescribed size passing through in the vertical direction at the center part.
