<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption in a remote control unit for performing a remote operation, without deteriorating operability while suppressing a cost increase. <P>SOLUTION: A remote control device includes a first friction resistance part 25, so as to allow a time from the depression of a push button 2 by a user to the return of the push button 2 to be longer than a time for transition from a low speed state to a high speed state of operation frequency in a CPU of a microcomputer. Consequently, continuity in first contact points 9 is kept, and then the depression of the push button 2 is recognized by the microcomputer.
