The shuttlecock, especially for badminton, is made of material which shines in the half-light. The luminescent material is liquid and is contained in a transparent, annular casing (4) going round the shuttlecock, between the ball-part (2) and the feathers (3). The luminescent material is made of two liquid constituents (8,9) separated before use and in a latent state. The two constituents (8,9) are each contained in a compartment (6,7) of the casing (4) and are divided by a wall (5) which can be destroyed by being squeezed from outside. USE/ADVANTAGE - The badminto game can be continued after dusk using a luminous shuttlecock.
