<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove matter adhering to a slider without influence on a recording surface of a magnetic disk. <P>SOLUTION: An HSA 6 moves on a slider 2 around a bearing part 4 as a rotation center according to a driving current supplied to a VCM 5. The slider 2 moves within a range of arrow A by the rotation of the HSA 6, and the VCM 5 itself also rotates around the bearing part 4 as the rotation center within a range of arrow B. The VCM 5 rotates within a range to a position touching an inner periphery stopper 201 or an outer periphery stopper 202. The rotation of the VCM 5 moves the slider 2 at a prescribed speed or acceleration in a direction of the inner or outer periphery. The VCM 5 rotates and stops at a position where the slider 2 and a recording surface of a magnetic disk 1 do not interfere with each other to remove matter adhering to the slider 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
