PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-sized member that can be easily and rapidly assembled, connected and mounted using a means such as fitting and can cope with the diversification of functions and uses. SOLUTION: This long-sized member comprises a long-sized shape 1 basically formed of a back plate 12 and side plates 11, 13 on both sides having fitting holes 11a, etc., and an opening part 14; and nodal face members 2 substantially of the same shape as the shape of the plane of projection of a space surrounded by the long-sized shape 1. The edges 21, 23 and 22 of the nodal face member 2 are respectively provided with fitting pieces 21a, 23a (tapered) and 22a in a projecting manner. The nodal face members 2 can be fitted to the long-sized shape 1 at prescribed spaces, orthogonally to the axial direction of the long-sized shape 1 by insert-fitting the fitting pieces into the fitting holes.
