<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation aid capable of using a digital X-ray image as a phantom (a mimic lesion) when the image is captured and evaluated, and particularly evaluating digital X-ray images in a plurality of X-ray absorption regions having different X-ray absorption rates in a collective manner. <P>SOLUTION: The evaluation aid 1 is used in capturing a digital X-ray image and evaluating it. The aid includes: a substrate (a plate-like body) 2 having a plurality of regions A-C different in X-ray absorption rate; and steps 31-33 having a plurality of areas 311-317 provided corresponding to the regions A-C, respectively and different in X-ray absorption rate.
