摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser-excited solid-state laser apparatus of which the structure of the whole apparatus is simple and small size, and which is excellent in rising response characteristics of a laser output. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser-excited solid-state laser apparatus which irradiates a solid state laser medium arranged in a laser resonator with excitation beam for laser oscillation, and outputs laser beam from the laser resonator comprises: holding means which holds the laser medium in a housing and also is composed of a raw material excellent in thermal conductivity; heating means which is arranged so as to be located in the vicinity of the laser medium in the holding means; temperature measuring means which is arranged between the laser medium in the holding means and the heating means, and measures temperature in the vicinity of the laser medium; and control means which controls the heating means based on a result of the measured temperature in the vicinity of the laser medium by the temperature measuring means.
