<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine working machine that can minimally reduce a possibility that cutting chips of wood may be mixed into air for intake while being simple in constitution, can suitably avoid a problem that a filter of an air cleaner is easily clogged, can compactly be accommodated at favorable balance as a whole, and can facilitate the cleaning work and the exchanging work of the filter. <P>SOLUTION: The engine working machine has a volute 17 for rectifying an air flow generated by the rotation of a cooling fan, the volute 17 is formed of a round part 17a and a linear part 17b, an air take-in port 18 for branching the air for intake of the engine from the rectified cooling air is formed in a region Z2 which is a region in the linear part 17b and located inside the center line C with respect to the lateral width direction, and the air take-in port is opened toward the downstream side of the cooling air which flows down in the region Z2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
