PURPOSE: An apparatus for escaping from fire in a high building is provided to escape from a fired floor using an emergency ladder which connects lower and upper verandas, thereby simplifying the building structure and eliminating fear while providing escaping apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for escaping from fire in a high building comprises a manhole(2), an expandable ladder(3), a plurality of circulation steps(35), and a sub cover(4). The manhole has a size in which a man can pass through on a floor of veranda in the high building. The expandable ladder is connected with a plurality of ladder ashes to expand and contract and installed in one side of manhole so that the expandable ladder can be folded inside of the manhole. A plurality of circulation steps are installed to rotate on the expandable ladder. The sub cover is connected to the expandable ladder and covers manhole.
