PURPOSE: A cutting machine is provided to prevent a fracture in a cross-section of work pieces because work pieces are cut by pulling in an upper blade so the weight of the objects is reduced. CONSTITUTION: A cutting machine comprises a frame(3), a fixed blade(1), and a movable blade(2). The frame comprises a blade attaching groove(32), a transverse passage(34), and a slot hole(35). The fixed blade is attached to the blade attaching groove. The transverse passage is installed in a sidewall of the frame. The slot hole is formed on a blade loading plane(33) of the blade attaching groove and passed through a transverse passage. A fixing bolt(11) is passed through the slot hole, thereby spirally connecting to the fixed blade. The fixing bolt is tightly fastened at a position where the fixed blade and movable blade are connected. The fixing blade is fixed to the blade attaching groove without a clearance between the movable and fixing blades.
