Positioning System, Service Server and Mobile using short distanca communication and Providing/Inquiring Method using the same

PURPOSE: A position and state information providing/searching system using local area communication, a service server, a mobile terminal, and a position and state information providing/searching method are provided to use position and state information of terminals which subscribe to the same service. CONSTITUTION: A service server(200) receives identification information of a local area communication module from a mobile terminal. The service server transmits a list of service subscribers. A position measuring server(210) measures a position of a terminal of the service subscriber. If at least one service subscriber is selected by the mobile terminal based on the list transmitted from the service server, the position measuring server transmits the position and state information of a terminal corresponding to the selected service subscriber to the mobile terminal.
