PURPOSE: An electric range with a cooking cavity is provided to keep food to be cooked fresh by refrigerating the food to be cooked in the cooking cavity. CONSTITUTION: An electric range with a cooking cavity comprises a heating unit(20), a cooking cavity(10), a heat exchange space, an inner circulation passage, and a control module. The heating unit comprises a heater for heating a cooker. The cooking cavity comprises a door and covers the surrounding of the heating unit. The heat exchange space comprises a heat exchanger for cooling air, a first ventilation hole(12) which is connected to the cooking cavity, and a circulating fan which forms an air flow passing through the heat exchanger and the first ventilation hole. The inner circulation passage comprises a first opening/closing part for selectively absorbing exterior air, a second ventilation hole(11) which is connected to the cooking cavity, and a second opening/closing part which allows or blocks an air flow between the second ventilation hole and the heat exchange space. The control module controls the driving of the heating unit, the operations of the first and second opening/closing parts, and the operation of the circulating fan.
