PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat cushion which has a good cushion feeling, has no bottom-pushing feeling, and can achieve weight reduction and space saving through thinning; and a seat cushion production method capable of easily producing the above-described seat cushion. SOLUTION: The seat cushion, used for a seat of a vehicle such as an automobile, comprises a flexible polyurethane foam and is a thin product with a thickness of 50-60 mm. The resonance frequency of the seat cushion is higher than 4.0 Hz and not higher than 5.0 Hz; and the resonance magnification in a range of resonance frequency of 2.0-4.0 Hz is higher than 4.0 and not higher than 5.0. The hardness of the seat cushion measured according to JIS K 6400 is preferably 216-245 N; and the apparent density of the seat cushion measured according to JIS K 7222 is preferably 35-40 kg/m<SP>3</SP>.
