APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CHECKING SAFETY OF QR CODE

PURPOSE: A security inspecting device of a QR code and a method thereof are provided to inspect addressing information of the code, thereby preventing misuse of the code. CONSTITUTION: A scanning module(210) acquires addressing information from a QR code recognized by scanning. An inspecting module(220) inspects a pattern of the addressing information to determine harmfulness of a site page which is identified by the addressing information. The inspecting module confirms a malicious code of a file downloaded by performing the addressing information on a virtual desktop to determine harmfulness of the site page. A controlling module(250) blocks an access to the site page depending on the result of determination.
