PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield machine forming a cutter frame provided in front of a shield body by separating it into a central cutter and an outer peripheral cutter and capable of ensuring the strength of the outer peripheral cutter sufficiently. SOLUTION: In this shield machine forming the cutter frame 14 provided in front of the shield body 11 by separating it into the central cutter 15 and the outer peripheral cutter 16 surrounding the outer periphery of the central cutter 15, a first rotary shaft 25 and a second rotary shaft 30 surrounding the first rotary shaft 25 are rotatably supported on a bulkhead 12 provided in the vicinity of a front end part of the shield main body 11, and the outer peripheral cutter 16 is connected with the first rotary shaft 25 by a first beam 28 and is connected with the second rotary shaft 30 by a second beam 36.
