PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for power supply in a navigation system are provided to prevent start delay to a destination by loading map data before user operation. CONSTITUTION: A controller(102) detects the current position of a user. The controller drives a remote(120) and a navigation system(100). A power supply unit(104) supplies power to a second communications unit when a navigation operation request is received. The power supply unit supplies power to a controller. A memory unit(108) stores the micro code of a program, all kinds of reference data, control program and map data. A touch administration unit(110) detects the touch input of the user. |
